We enjoyed a beautiful Harvest Service yesterday at church and were overwhelmed by the generosity of local people donating gifts of food and money. The food, mostly tinned goods will be donated to the Maghull Foodbank which is held every Tuesday in our small church hall. Thank you to everyone for your donations.
Our local Scouts and Beavers kindly donated a large amount of tinned goods.
The church was decorated beautifully with a moving reminder that there are many places where food cannot easily be grown.
